This policy explains how Impart handles the personal data of people who visit this website or contact us, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).
1. Data we process
- Information you send us: your name, phone number, email address and project details (languages, dates, files and deadlines) when you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and the source of your visit (such as an ad). Our hosting provider records this automatically. Analytics and advertising tools may also collect it if you consent (see section 5).
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. If a document submitted for translation contains such data, we use it only to provide the contracted service.
2. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to inquiries and preparing quotes: steps requested before entering into a contract (LGPD, art. 7, V).
- Providing contracted services, such as translation, interpreting, dubbing and proofreading: performance of a contract (art. 7, V).
- Meeting legal and tax obligations, such as issuing invoices: legal obligation (art. 7, II).
- Keeping the website secure and operational: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).
- Measuring website and campaign performance and displaying ads: only with your consent (art. 7, I), which you may withdraw at any time.
3. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We may share it only with:
- partner professionals (translators, interpreters and voice artists) working on your project, subject to confidentiality obligations;
- providers that operate our website and communications, such as hosting, email and WhatsApp;
- analytics and advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta), only if you accept the corresponding optional cookies;
- public authorities when required by law or court order.
Some providers may store data outside Brazil. In those cases, transfers follow the conditions of article 33 of the LGPD.
4. How long we keep data
We keep data for as long as needed for its purpose: inquiries that do not lead to a contract for up to 12 months; client data for the duration of the contract and applicable tax and accounting retention periods. Files submitted for translation are kept for the period agreed with the client and then deleted.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use two categories:
- Necessary: keep the website working and store your cookie choice. They do not require consent.
- Analytics and advertising: tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, used to understand site usage and measure ads. They remain off until you select “Accept all” or enable the category under “Review” and save your choice.
You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer or delete cookies in your browser settings.
6. Your rights
Under article 18 of the LGPD, you may request confirmation that we process your data; access; correction; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent. To exercise a right, email jrjr65@gmail.com. Under article 19, confirmation or access may be provided immediately in a simplified form, or in a full statement within 15 days. You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss and alteration, including confidentiality agreements with professionals involved in projects.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
